My home away from home this past semester! I just moved out of my sorority house at TCU and already miss this setup. Most of the decor in the photo above is reused from my freshman and sophomore years, and I intend on reusing these pieces for my senior year!
Two of my favorite things about my room:
1. The star lamp: I believe this lamp was in my brother’s baby nursery (he’s 23 now, lol) and survived several moves with my family. When I saw it sitting in our garage over the summer, I knew it was coming to college with me.
2. The hello sign on the top shelf: This simple sign from Hobby Lobby has accessorized all three of my college rooms! I painted light pink last year, but I think it’s time for a fresh coat of paint tho… to be continued.
My high school friend painted my old lamp shade to this amazing floral design. It created the most beautiful ambience as I got ready for bed each night. I never stopped falling in love with it.
It’s crazy to think that I’m done living in this house after two years and done living on campus forever! I’m a little sad, but mostly excited to start a new chapter in terms of my living situation.
