Today I’m coming at you with a bold look. I remember spotting this jumpsuit (here’s a similar design) in Nordstrom and thinking it was love at first sight. It’s a daring piece, but I feel empowered and authentic wearing it, which is how you’re supposed to feel in your clothing!
This suit is the perfect combination of masculinity and femininity. The traditional corduroy construction outfit feel has a modern twist thanks to its rosy shade of pink. I wanted to pair simpler shoes with this look, so I went with these white sneakers. My glasses aren’t for sale anymore, but these beauties are practically the same shape, just a slightly different shade.
Finally, my grandma used to own this gorgeous vintage purse. While it gives me Gucci vibes, it’s actually from a boutique in Lubbock, Texas, and every bead and dainty detail is still intact, which isn’t surprising if you knew my grandma and how well-kept she keeps her things.
“La vie en rose,” or the English translation, “life in pink,” entails living life through rose-colored lenses. Wearing clothes that inspire me to see and live life to the fullest is why I love fashion and discovering my style, and this outfit allows me to do just that.
