Hello! I’m excited to start a new series on my blog to highlight brands that make me feel good pre and post-purchase. Of course, buying products we want but don’t necessarily need in life makes us feel good. But the brands I’m featuring today stand out because they make me feel like an intentional consumer and I’ll continue purchasing from them because the products are just as strong as the brands.
1. Paige Denim
Shout out to my friend Kennedy for introducing me to PAIGE Denim a few years ago! This brand is known for having comfortable yet well-fitting denim for men and women. I remember the confident feeling I got the first time I tried on PAIGE jeans and immediately knew I’d be a loyal customer.
I got four pairs of jeans from PAIGE before my study abroad because I wanted classic and durable jeans. They were perfect for dressing up and down, and I honestly never got sick of them because they were stretchy but flattering!
The Dallas-based brand collaborates with artisans from South and Central America to create beautiful home décor products. One of my favorite influencers reviewed a throw pillow she purchased, resulting in me researching and becoming obsessed with the innovative brand.
This past Christmas, I bought my dad a set of Mezcal whiskey tasting glasses. They’re different shapes and sizes, which, in my opinion, adds to the authenticity of the products. We’ve used them a few times, and I love the fact that they have an interesting story behind them!
I discovered Apolis Global at Nordstrom in Dallas about two years ago. The two brands partnered to create bags labeled with U.S. cities and states, so I purchased one that said Dallas, TX (Click here to see what this bag looked like in my sophomore year dorm room). My sister reminded me of the brand a week ago when she got me another tote from this collection in Boulder, CO.
I was initially drawn to the product because I thought it was unique; I wanted something natural looking that was still structured and chic. Not to mention it doubles as a reusable, multi-purpose tote. The bag got even better when I turned to look at the backside and saw the brand’s compelling story.
All of the products are made in Bangladesh then sent to a paint shop in Los Angeles. Click here to learn more about the company’s mission and the impact it’s making on people in developing countries.
Until next time,
Lindi
