May is over, and I honestly feel relieved and amazed that we made it through another month of this year. With everything being so serious in our world, I’d like to take a moment to share four products that have made life a little more relaxing for me during this time.
For a few weeks, my skin was breaking out like crazy. When I vented to my mom about my breakouts, she suggested I go back to the basics and use the iconic yellow Clinique moisturizer. After a few days of lathering this lotion on my face, my skin cleared up. Of course, I still break out, but this product was a definite problem solver for me this month!
Fresh Sugar Mint Lip Treatment
I just ran out fo this balm and need to get more ASAP! It’s’ minty clean scent combined with its’ thick consistency was perfect for my 24/7 dry lips. Not to mention, I love Fresh, and feel like more people should be using this brand because of how fresh (no pun intended) the products look and feel.
As I was writing about the mint lip balm, I realized I should also give credit to Fresh’s soy face cleanser. This product has a minimal, calming scent and is refreshing to splash all over your face every morning and night. If you’re looking for a low sensitivity cleanser, I suggest this one- love, love, love.
Not going to lie, I bought this mask for my sister, Anna, but knew I was going to try it as well, lol. When I bombarded Anna’s bathroom to test out the product, she had everything perfectly set up. There was a glass bowl containing a spoonful of the dry mask and a spoonful of apple cider vinegar. I mixed the ingredients and applied the mask to my face using a paintbrush (yes, a paintbrush from Hobby Lobby). I let the mask sit on my skin for 15 minutes. After rinsing the product off, I was shocked to feel how smooth my skin was, and I think it was such a refreshing deep clean for my pores!
Until next time,
Lindi
