There are 10 days until Mother’s Day, and I feel you if you either don’t know what to get your mom or haven’t gotten anything for her yet. I love thinking of and giving intentional gifts to people, so I thought I’d share my ideas and direct links to each suggestion with you all.
I know this idea is simple, but I think it’s one of the most thoughtful things you can do. A meaningful letter goes a long way! And for the past two or three years, I’ve gotten my cards from Paper Source because they’re always beautiful and creative.
Whether your mom likes this scent or not, stocking up on two or three of her favorite candles so she can put them around the house is always nice.
3. “New York Apple” Mac lipstick
This gift is in honor of my mom because she wears this color almost every day! She swears it looks good on every skin tone and with any outfit, and I agree! The photo doesn’t do it justice- I think it’s redder in person. But it’s such a classic color if your mom likes wearing lipstick.
My close friends can attest that this scent is amazing, lol. Not only is the packaging clean and feminine, but so is the smell. I’ve never gotten more compliments on perfume than when I wear this one; my family and friends who prefer clean or musty scents all love this one. You can’t go wrong with it!
As I write this, it’s National Planner Day! To celebrate, Erin Condren launched the 2020-2021 Life Planner. If your mom likes writing in calendars and making to-do lists, she’ll definitely like this product.
Last year, I got my mom a set of Kate Spade glasses. My dad prepared a cocktail the night before Mother’s Day and we used the glasses the next day for brunch. Now we refer to them as our “Mother’s Day glasses,” and use them on holidays and other fun occasions.
I kept seeing these flowers all over social media and thought they’d be perfect for a Mother’s Day gift. They’re a little pricey, but last for years and could be a pretty centerpiece, office, or bedroom decoration.
Not to sound dramatic, but I was shocked when I saw this gift set. It includes so many products from great brands. If you don’t think this set would fit your mom’s personality, there are plenty of other options on the website!
9. Crate&Barrel Charcuterie Board
My family and I use our charcuterie board almost every night for dinner, and the best part is that it’s so easy to create a spread. No to mention they’re great for movie night, sitting on the patio in the evening, or to bring to family or friend’s houses.
My final suggestion is outdoor pillows. This one from Pottery Barn will go with just about anything and is perfect with summer coming up soon!
I hope you all liked these recommendations, thanks for reading!
Until next time,
Lindi
