My friend Grace and I went on a day trip from Florence to Pisa two weeks ago, and it was such a fun experience. We showed up at the train station 30 minutes early, sat at a cafe for 20 minutes, and boarded our train carriage 10 minutes early. An hour later, we found ourselves in Pisa, where we took a 10-minute taxi to the tower. After taking several touristy “leaning” pictures, we went to a super cute coffee shop and got iced vanilla lattes; I still think that was one of the best coffees I’ve had in Italy!! Our last destination of the day was eating at a cute outdoor restaurant for lunch. After a great conversation and delicious food, we headed back to Florence. I had such a great time and can’t wait for more simple day trips like this one!
Until next time,
Lindi
