Has anyone else ever gotten a spray tan? If your answer is “yes,” do you feel like they help clear your skin or conceal your acne? If your answer to that question is “yes,” then, same.
While getting a spray tan (peep my tan fingers above) is a safe option for getting golden skin in the summer, I think that whatever is in the formula helps clear my skin.
Another piece of my acne-clearing-puzzle is using effective skincare products. Two weeks ago, I noticed blemishes on my face despite my daily skincare routines. I decided to use my Fresh Cosmetics products for another week, hoping that my acne would wash away. But as time passed, my skin stayed the same, and I made the executive decision to rumble with my skincare routine.
The brand Caudalie (not sure how it’s pronounced) caught my eye in Sephora because of their clean-ingredient products. I bought the cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. After using these three products for a few days, I noticed a positive difference in my skin.
Now that I’ve used my new products every morning and night for one week, my skin looks much healthier. Not to mention, my spray tan is still in-tact. I call this a win-win situation.
I’m no dermatologist- although if I wanted to be in the medical field, I would go down that path, lol. But my point in posting this entry is the following: maybe the problem is your skincare, not your skin. And for me, getting a spray tan was the boost I needed to dry out and get rid of my zits.
Until next time,
