In honor of this spring being my final semester of undergrad (I only started classes last week but feel like the semester is already flying by, lol), I thought I’d show some memorable moments from the fall. This post isn’t as eventful as my Junior Year Recap for obvious reasons/COVID, but I made the most of this time with some of my favorite friends and family.
The first last day of school called for a photo of me and my roommates doing the “go frogs” sign. Side note- this photo was the only time I wore my backpack this past semester because all of my classes were online!
My last sorority recruitment was also near the beginning of the semester, so my roommate, Chloe, and I did our best to take a trendy photo in our front yard because this event was also online- I think it turned out cute!!
A small group of us celebrated Katherine’s birthday in Dallas, and I’ll never stop being obsessed with this photo. Leave it to Katherine to provide us with birthday hats that match our outfits- very aesthetic, lol.
My cousin, Chloe, turned 21 in September- peep her incredible headband. Chlo, I can already tell that this photo will be a classic family photo (if that makes sense), and I’m smiling looking back at it because this night was so much fun.
My cousin, Keeton and I drove to Austin for a quick weekend trip. Of course, we had to visit my forever friend, Anna, who is also graduating this spring. Anna, I can’t believe we’ve made it this far- go frogs and hook ’em.
Boulder, baby- I visited my sister, Anna, for 36 hours in her new home away from home. It was our first time seeing each other in two months, and we savored every minute of the weekend! This trip was also two days before my 22nd birthday, so Anna had cake and snacks prepared in our hotel room, which was so thoughtful. Love you so much, Anna.
Gameday!! We lucked out with perfect weather and a frog win- to be honest, I think this was the first time I’ve stayed for an entire game. If you know me well, you know I’m not the biggest sports person, but I truly loved this game.
Big little reveal- I’m super close with my sorority family and had so much fun watching my grand little, Paige, get two littles!
Last but not least, my final football game as a student. I know I just said I’m not a big sports fan, lol, but my mom loves frog football, so we decided to drive to Fort Worth over Thanksgiving break to watch the last game. Frogs won, once again!
That’s a wrap! Looking back at these photos, I think they’re so meaningful, and I’m glad I could post this entry to recap this unique semester. Keep in mind that these images are highlights from my semester. The majority of my time took place in my house on Zoom classes. Just felt like mentioning that because I don’t want anyone to think my semester was amazing just because I’m showing these photos!
Thanks for reading, and here’s to starting my last semester at TCU!!!
Until next time,
Lindi
